What are Tournament Dollars?
Think of a Tournament Dollar (TD) as a Tournament Entry Chip (TEC) divided
up into ones. A TEC is worth $100. A Tournament Dollar is worth $1. The value is equivalent to US dollars. Tournament Dollars
are non-cashable.
How do I earn Tournament Dollars?
Say you play in a $3+.30 tournament that feeds into a $100+9 and
you win the tournament. Unfortunately, you have dinner plans during that scheduled $100+9. What can you do? Aside from cancelling
your plans and disappointing someone special, you now have the ability to unregister from the scheduled event. You will be
credited 109 Tournament Dollars. You can use your Tournament Dollars to enter another $100+9 event. You can also use them
to enter a variety of smaller tournaments.
Where can I use Tournament Dollars?
You can use Tournament Dollars to buy into tournaments and Sit
‘n Gos (SNGs).
Can I convert my Tournament Dollars to cash?
No. Tournament Dollars cannot be converted to cash. You
may use them to enter tournaments and SNGs where you can in turn win cash.
What if the buy-in has cents? Can a TD be split into fractions?
Of course. Tournament dollars can be
split into fractions – just like US dollars.
If I buy into a tournament or SNG with Tournament Dollars and win, will I be paid out in real dollars?
Yes,
you will be paid out in US dollars.
Can I transfer my Tournament Dollars to a buddy?
Yes, Tournament Dollars are transferable.
Can I sell my Tournament Dollars?
No, you may not.
What about TECs? Can I still use them?
Yes, Tournament Entry Chips are still accepted.
Can I convert my TECs to tournament dollars?
Yes you can convert your TECs to tournament dollars by
contacting member services. 1 TEC equals 100 tournament dollars.
Can I use Tournament Dollars for re-buy events?
Yes, tournament dollars can be used for re-buys and
add-ons.
